• Molding: HEWL utilizes engineered molding lines with mechanized sand systems and conveyors to ensure efficient and high-quality mold production. They employ both green sand molding and CO2 resin sand molding to accommodate various casting complexities.
• Coremaking: The company manufactures a range of cores using diverse methods based on specific casting requirements. Core shooters and specialized fixtures ensure accurate core placement within the molds. They utilize different core-making materials like silicate, fusion resin, and molasses.
• Melting: Precise control is maintained during the crucial melting stage. HEWL utilizes a combination of induction and cupola furnaces with capacities ranging from 1500 kg to 250 kg per hour. They meticulously blend ingredients to achieve the required grade of cast iron, ductile iron, and other alloys.
• Fettling: After the castings are shaken out from the sand, they undergo a fettling process. HEWL utilizes shot blasting machines to prepare the parts for the next stage. Cores are removed using pneumatic chisels and grinding machines for some parts. Finally, painting is done according to OEM specifications.
• Machining: HEWL's advanced machining lines include CNC vertical and horizontal lathes, machining centers, drilling and tapping centers, special purpose machines, milling machines, and radial drills. Jigs and fixtures are meticulously designed to guarantee precision machining for each part, ensuring they meet OEM specifications.
• Sheet Metal, Forging, Fabrication, and Heat Treatment: In addition to machined castings, HEWL caters to broader needs by producing sheet metal, forged, and fabricated parts. Their facility includes various machines for pressing, shearing, induction heating, heat treatment, and welding.

They meticulously analyze technical data and drawings before creating in-house illustrations for patterns, molds, fixtures, and quality control gauges. Their independent quality control department oversees every stage, from raw material procurement to casting, machining, and final delivery. A team of trained inspectors ensures adherence to quality standards for sand, metal composition, pouring temperature, tensile strength, metallographic structure, and machining precision. They utilize various tools like the Carbon Equivalent Meter, Chemical Laboratory, Spectrometer, Thermocouples, Universal Testing Machines (UTM), Microscopes, digital gauges, and CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) for comprehensive quality checks.
